Scott brady started djing back in 2003 when his hometown of derby was a hot spot for bars and clubs, scraping enough cash together to buy his own cd decks, Scott later took a step backwards in time into the world of vinyl with a set of cheap direct drive turntables. He started out playing rnb and hip hop, teaching himself to mix and scratch, earning himself a residency on www.future-fm.com (now sadly diminished). Scott spent the next 2 years perfecting the art of mixing and scratching with his love at the time, hip hop music. Around 2005 Scott took the plunge into the world of house music after attending derby's legendary house night Blend and falling in love with the fresh and exciting music he was witnessing on a weekly basis. Scott then spent the next 2 years educating himself in house music acquiring weekly sets on www.kick106.co.uk and www.housenationuk.com, perfecting his mixing further, pushing himself to constantly improve. Scott's first club break came at Susumi in his hometown playing at house night Evolve, securing himself further sets at Evolve. Scott made a decision to step up the self promotion starting his website www.djscottbrady.com and secured further gigs returning to Susumi to play for house night MYNT and then gracing the decks at The Union nightclub. Scott looks to further his career in the future, working hard, perfecting his skills, putting mixes out, helping other up and coming djs and above all remaining modest amidst the chaos in the world that is clubland!
